Fees

I have standard fees for first consultations, psychotherapy, couples therapy and family therapy. These standard fees change from time to time and it is best to ask me directly about my current fees. In practice, I sometimes adjust my fees on an individual basis, depending on the type of treatment, session frequency, and, occasionally, on the basis of demonstrated financial hardship. (I am especially open to making adjustments to my fees for students and those who work in the arts. Again, however, there must be some demonstration of financial need for me to consider such an adjustment.)

I generally bill at the end of the month for the preceding month and require payment within two weeks of presentation of my bill. I prefer to be paid for initial consultations at the time of first meeting. If you are planning on submitting a bill for reimbursement from your insurance carrier, I will furnish an itemized bill with codes the insurance carrier needs to see in order to issue any reimbursement.

I accept cash, check and Zelle payments.

Please be aware that it is the patient's responsibility - not the insurance carrier's - to make timely payment to me.
